Women@Disney BERG

I had an amazing opportunity to join a wonderful team of women within The Walt Disney Company that created this Business Employee Resource Group (BERG) that is focused on empowering and supporting women at Disney. The BERG aims to empower and equip employees with the resources to build impactful careers by creating a platform that elevates, champions, and supports inner and professional growth. We have 9 different pillars that all help us in the different aspects of our day to day lives, each one having a particular focus and highlight. From career development, to wellness, to mentorship, to book club!

My Projects

Bi-Weekly Newsletters

We created a biweekly communication that took shape as an email newsletter that went out to all of our members. This showcased important events, along with book club reads, and even recommendations and information from some of our Women@Disney Leadership team members. This communication changed every time it was sent, however we used a basic layout to help us maximize our efficiency and allow everyone the ease of creating a similar design on a regular basis.

Pillar Events / Documents

Our 9 different Pillars each had their own focus and dynamic that we helped to create designs and share information on a regular basis. From events to simply sharing important information, we created one of a kind designs for each of them.

Wellness Coloring Pages

This particular project was one of my absolute favorites to create. Our Wellness Pillar was working on creating a particular program that focused on self-care. Within this program they asked us to come up with some ideas on an adult coloring book that would help foster a calming mental health environment. So as a collective we came up with a few different words that we could easily portray in its own coloring page and got to word drawing and designing these fun pages.
